Pros

- Perks such as catered meals, gym, stocked kitchen - Lots of smart people in other departments - Flexible hours, opportunities to work from home - Dog-friendly

Cons

Leadership in the Billing Operations department is downright incompetent. Management completely lacks any understanding of day-to-day operations of the team and is incapable of being a resource their employees. They put no effort towards connecting with the team and expect people to continue to be happy regardless. They are unable to accept criticism and often disregards professionalism when handling tough workplace situations. Most people who've left the team cited poor leadership as the primary reason for leaving. I would have a much brighter outlook on the team if it were under different management. There is little to no career trajectory in medical billing, and management doesn't care enough to help everyone grow in their roles. No 401k matching

Pros

Counsyl had a great culture especially around engineering. There was a focus on learning and everyone was friendly and nice.

Cons

It was often hard to figure out how the projects were actually going to improve revenue
