Pros
Talented nursing staff that genuinely care about their patients
Cons
Staff work really hard and they do their best to stick together. With that said, the working conditions are extremely difficult and unsafe. The CEO and upper management are out of touch with what is happening within their hospital. Its all about money and keeping the beds filled, no matter how short we are for each shift. The patient to nurse ratio is terrible and you are often asked to work 16 hour shifts as they "piece together" the needed coverage due to being short. Management does not care about the conditions or the risk it puts their nurses and patient's. They want the beds filled even if there is not enough staff to properly care for them. Its very sad; its incredibly unsafe and it has been like this for many years.
