- Immature, lazy co-workers who screw around all shift - Out of control gossiping and rumor-mongering - Zero oversight - Mandatory overtime - No room to advance Coming into work every day is like walking back into high school (middle school on bad days). I've held many jobs over the years and there are always lazy, immature employees but this place takes the cake by a long shot. Where do I even start? It's filled with some of the most immature, obnoxious 20-year-old boys I've ever met in my life who play "rumor games" and make up reputation-ruining lies about other employees. Even the adults act like children, here. Management is aware and does nothing. They will goof off all shift standing around talking, putting dead bugs near co-workers to scare them, playing "tag" with each other, spreading rumors about other employees, intentionally bumping into each other with heavy duty machinery, and turning machines off in mid-operation that are being used by other employees. OSHA would be horrified. There's a female machine operator on day shift that stops her work 30 minutes before she's supposed to leave, every single day, and just sits and talks with other employees for the remainder of her time even when there's plenty of work to do. Management is aware but doesn't seem to care. The regular employees get away with murder, while temporary employees get no recognition for good performance. The entire company is filled with slackers and gossipers and management is asleep at the wheel. Coming into work every day is an endless cycle of depression and frustration and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. If you're an adult over the age of 21 or a professional in any way, avoid this place like the plague. It will suck the life out of you.
