Pros
From my experience Cortica is the first company I’ve worked for with genuine strong culture of teamwork and support. From the initial training process through my transition into the field, I consistently received guidance and encouragement from supervisors, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams. This support extended across both in-home and clinic-based services, allowing me to build confidence while working with clients from a variety of backgrounds and needs. Support is still offered for each new client case, even with 9 months working with company.
The team of other BT’s is especially supportive and willing to help whether it involves client-related questions, sharing strategies and tips, or simply helping one another manage the demands of the day, there is a genuine sense of community. Our clinic supervisor and front desk management work hard to create a welcoming and safe environment for staff. They regularly organize optional themed days, company outings, potlucks, and appreciation events, while also keeping the break room stocked with snacks. These efforts help employees feel valued, connected, and supported, making the Woodlands clinic a positive and enjoyable place to work.
Cons
From my experience with cortica it is also the first company where shifts are guaranteed on your schedule even if you don’t have a client, using administrative time to support meet those previous hours held. However, if you want to expand your availability staying on top of scheduling is recommended just to keep updated you can take on more client load
