Pros
The pros at Cornerstone are the same at any software company looking to pay their team members less than market value -- free snacks, lunch on Fridays, company sponsored happy hours.
Cons
The product experiences a lot of downtime which results in many unhappy clients. It's built on old technology that wasn't built to scale. Culturally, a lot of the managers I worked with at Cornerstone were employees that were promoted based off tenure and not management potential. The manager-focused culture also monetarily rewarded those with manager in their title instead of realizing that individual contributors were also key to success. The work environment is very gossip-y. It is hard to get your work done without having to play chess due to internal politics and favoritism.
