      Pros

      A great place to cut your teeth. Lots of freedom to work on projects that you thought were important. This in turn spurred growth both with the engineers' personal tool kit, but the business as well.

      Cons

      During a portion of my time there we were stuck in a holding pattern. As one could imagine, this limited the personal growth of the engineers.

      Pros

      Young and smart team, good product management and performance rewarded. People tended to stay with the company for quite a while which let to good team energy.

      Cons

      Integration challenges following lots of merger and acquisition activity. Got very big very quickly and growing pains were obvious and significant.
