Pros

The only good thing about that place was they had new tractors that's it.

Cons

Management sucked they had the slightest clue what was going on out on the road, the pay was crap the lumpers who make a little about minimum wage were making a lot more then the drivers and the drivers had 20x the amount of responsibility, core-mark takes customers over employees and freight over employees. With the amount of hours you work you could make more money flipping burgers. They like to run the driver illegal by making them go into sleeper birth but work the whole time tell your co driver is out of hours so you work 22+ hrs at a time. For the ones who are to blinded to see it but core-mark pays you on a sliding scale per mile so you make nothing.. I would not recommend this place on my worst enemy.. I'm glad I got out of there and went to do line haul where I'm home every night making 80k a year. Core-mark makes it sound good in the hiring and interview to sucker you into there crap work with there crap pay.

Pros

Potential for higher pay, free boots and uniforms, higher level of respect compared to other local drivers, minimum $1500 a week. The Wilkes Barre location treated me very well.

Cons

Long hours, might run out of hours if you’re inexperienced
