Pros
Copper cares about building a product that drives their vision. It’s refreshing to have leadership be unified and directed in what to make. On top of that the culture being fostered is great, strong work life balance, personal responsibility, inclusiveness and honesty. It’s great to work at a startup where people have played the startup game before. Yes it’s a startup, no it’s not Silicon Valley. People know how to build a great product and know the realistic resources and timelines to get there. Doing a good job means the company will propel forward, and people understand that.
Cons
Biggest downside is the phase of the company. Things are basically from zero so lots of ambiguity. But that said this is to be expected and is kind of the fun part!
