Pros

I read a lot of reviews before making the decision to apply for the FastTrack'd program. So I'll try to be somewhat thorough with my review. From the moment their recruiter reached out to me I felt like she was honest and upfront about the difficulty of the program and what was expected of me. I took their pre-assessments and had an over the phone interview/Skype interview. The class itself was very intense and fast paced (as was described to me from the very beginning) and yes, people are cut if their performance is not up to standard. The teachers know what they are doing and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have-but you need to ask. They provide snacks/drinks since you will be there from 9am-5pm. They also have random lunches and even a few social outings. Be prepared to lose some sleep and truly be challenged. They constantly ask for feedback, you can tell they actually care to know what you think throughout the whole experience. Interview/resume prep is part of the deal as well and everyone there is a great support system if you make it to the end. There was constant communication from all parties involved after I graduated from the program and the transition was smooth once I did receive a contract. Cook Systems tries really hard to make everyone feel like family and constantly improve not only the FastTrack'd program but the company as whole. It has been an incredible opportunity and life changer-you just have to work hard to achieve it.

Cons

Lack of sleep/hard work

Pros

The Java Spring part of the training was good but minimal. We only learned RESTful APIs with Spring Boot.

Cons

The Angular part of the course was outdated. We started with 8 students in the cohort, 1 dropped out and 7 graduated. None of the 7 were able to be placed. I felt the curriculum was outdated in the age of AI. We only learned how to build CRUD applications.
