Pros

Not gonna lie, there are few pros: - Good atmosphere at the office, thanks to the friendly coworkers and not the management of course. - Flexible hours. - I wasted half an hour thinking about a third advantage but couldn’t find it.

Cons

I don’t even know where to start, maybe the fact that the salary is one of the lowest in Brussels for a consultant and I’m not just referring to the net/gross but also to all the benefits. Some companies offer a lower gross salary but with many benefits that compensate the net (authors’ right, bonuses, extra holidays...). And other companies offer a higher gross salary without some benefits. This company, on the other hand, offer a low gross salary and very few benefits, so you’ll get a small net salary at the end of the month. If you’re a junior developer or you just finished your studies, they’ll certainly offer you a weird contract called FPI for like six months, I really suggest you to inform yourself before signing it because you’ll find out many things you won’t be entitled to (no meal vouchers, you’ll get a even lower salary, no holiday pays...). Besides the economic aspect, it’s very hard to develop your skills and learn new stuff due to a lack of senior members in the team. No one will guide you, no one will help you with coding problems/questions, finding yourself stuck many times. And guess why this lack of senior developers? Small salary that nobody takes. Not to mention some internal projects with no defined purposes, no specific requirements, nothing concrete, just some ideas you’ll be working on with thousand of questions you’ll never get answers to.
