Pros

Context Matters is a great place to work with smart individuals and great company culture. They are generous with company holidays, time off and personal matters. There is a great deal of flexibility and opportunities to work remotely. Teamwork really feels like "team work" as it is a collaborative environment. It's small enough to be able to recruit from within for the growing demand of the industry and needs of the company. Context Matters really cares about their employees.

Cons

The training process is a bit confusing.

Pros

I have been working at Context Matters for several years, and easily the best part of being employed here is the culture of the company. Both employees and management make a genuine effort to deal with each individual as a person and take into account their personal life experiences. These types of things span from a return to school, to extended travel, to family situations, to a respect for each employee’s personal life. This flexibility makes for better employees and coworkers. The other reason to work here is because the people here are interesting and creative people. Many of them are experts in different areas of the work and most of them are happy to collaborate on individual projects and to make the overall application better. People have a commitment to a high quality of work which doesn’t support the few carrying the brunt of work for the many. There is never really a sense that something is within a person’s job description and jobs are constantly changing with the capabilities of the employee.

Cons

The disadvantages of working here are that the pay and benefits are mediocre, data entry can be tedious and there is a tendency for management to focus on sales without crediting other teams for their part in the eventual sale.
