Pros

Decent scenery out in the middle of Moyock, NC if you like corn fields.

Cons

The company promotes the "Good ole boy" mentality. The employees that work the hardest are not rewarded, only the employees that maintain the status quo advance. Many of the employees have openly expressed far-right wing "extremist" political viewpoints through signage or verbally and these thoughts were acceptable throughout the company while moderate to progressive viewpoint would get you demonized or out the door. There where multiple instances of the company terminating employees without having submitted any tax information to the state preventing them from receiving unemployment. Various reports of racial discrimination have been filed to the EEOC against upper management. The company was promising annual bonus' of 5% in offer letters based on good evaluations but never gave more than $250 before taxes. The company expected all employees to keep email on there phones and to respond when not at work. Management would list positions as lesser roles than what the job actually entails in an effort to justify paying the employees less than what the equivalent position would pay. The company is more focused on shaking its ties from the Erik Prince owned Blackwater instead of changing its policies and work environment to actually do better.

Pros

Long-term peer relationships built from trauma bonding

Cons

Limited benefits, below market pay, and more. It's difficult to see this company continue to gasp for air since at one point, things were turning the corner and positive changes were beginning to be made. The current leadership (especially in HR) is concerning. There is 0 culture. Don't speak up about mismanagement or favoritism - you will be managed out and/or placed on a PIP no matter what department you're in.
