Our compensation team routinely monitors the labor markets where business is conducted to ensure that total compensation is aligned with the required skills, knowledge and abilities of positions. Our employees are encouraged to acquire skills and strive for continuous improvement to be poised for greater responsibilities within our organization. Whether an internal or external candidate, our managers and recruiters objectively assess candidates’ qualifications and expertise relative to the documented essential job functions. This practice lends to recruiting resourceful and talented employees. As a testament to our focus on career progression and promotion from within, in 2019, more than 50% of our positions were filled internally. At the TIDC, we employ a variety of training methodologies relative to equipment, procedures, safety and techniques for our techs. If a tech requires clarification or additional training, they are encouraged to engage a member of the management team. A well advised tech is an important contributor to the success of the TIDC.
