Pros
The company has a strong and visionary top management team, providing clear direction and strategic leadership. It offers excellent opportunities for growth and development at senior levels, with a focus on fostering innovation and improving processes. Despite some challenges, I would be open to rejoining the company in a management role to contribute to its success and address areas of improvement.
Cons
The lower-level management, particularly at the Engineering Manager and Senior Manager levels, lacks experience and plays corporate politics. Individuals in these roles have often advanced due to tenure rather than merit, creating inefficiencies and barriers to performance improvement. Even with significant experience from other companies, newer employees can find it difficult to make an impact due to the internal politics played by lower management. There’s a need for stronger, more competent leadership at the lower levels to align better with the company’s vision and ensure fair opportunities for all employees.
