Pros
Good health insurance. That’s literally it.
Cons
Severely understaffed due to laying off 30+ employees a year, including ones they recruit and have uproot their lives and leave other great companies to join their “amazing” one. Due do the understaffing, your role will never be truly defined as it should be, leading you to take on three or more departments roles/duties. They disguise themselves with being this innovative company that helps patients live their best lives when in reality they constantly miss surgery dates and end up causing more stress on the patient than ever needed. Along with, return knees/hips from surgeries for parts being wrong or not made correctly is also at a high. Employee morale is severely low, with no help from HR on trying to boost it. Instead of cutting back costs in the marketing department or on things like the rent in their Billerica office which is hundreds of thousands of dollars per month and holds maybe 35 employees on a good day, instead they choose to lay employees off two weeks before Christmas, with the guise of it being “okay” because they’ll keep them as employees in the system and pay them for the whole month of December. Which once January hits, they now have to start the new year worrying about unemployment, finding a new job, paying off Christmas debt, rent, etc. Watching that happen to fellow employees was heartbreaking, and has led to a lot of people (both in very high up corporate positions and at the manufacturing site) to jump off the sinking ship that is Conformis in the last few months. Read the other honest reviews and TRUST them, they aren’t just disgruntled ex-employees, I wish I had trusted my gut when I read them and never signed on with this company.
