Most people are good and mean well. Good pay, no "view of the bay for half the pay" like many companies in the region. Annual pay rate adjustments. Good benefits. Health and Safety of employees is the highest priority.
Cons
The drama and infighting often decrease productivity . Gossip about what bad is going to happen next is rampant. Many people would leave given the chance. Management generally doesn't lead. Poor performance will result in having less responsibilities which means good performance will result in more responsibilities. Unqualified engineers are often hired simply because "hiring takes long" and and "engineers are hard to get up here." CEO works the least of anyone. Often he will be in the building less then 8 hours a day. Many people might consider this a pro, but its not the sign of a healthy company. Senior management spends 90% of the their time making poorly done presentations. Basically no room for growth. Excuses and Lies are common.
