Pros
Going by the website content and press releases the company seems to have improved in both leadership/management style, 21st Century view; more focus on company employees and being an industry leader in the pack for their vertical sectors. When I was there no full-time HR department, whereas Concurrent seem they are now personnel centric, imo. Can't comment further as not in touch with anyone who works there now.
Cons
- Historical Con: I worked for Concurrent Technologies for about 20 years. Left a number of years back mainly due to poor senior leadership/management (at that time); micro-management and I didn't even have a dept. budget despite my roles. At the time good salary increases were hard to come by, though I did manage to get up to 30 days holiday/yr due to my tenure. Sometimes profit scheme kicked in. Hopefully salary increases are now more performance related rather than inflation rated (or pleasing the shareholders rated). As I say can't comment on Concurrent of today. Just my share historically. - Current con: website seems flat (2-dimensional), not dynamic, bland, does not jump out at me. Repeated photos. Lots of scrolling to get through content on a single page for my laptop. I am sharing my initial impression opinion as a con, due to potential customers and potential employees visiting site.
