Pros

Good opportunity for progression of roles in more senior teams become available. Majority of people are friendly, met some good friends there good holiday allowance

I did not feel very respected, expected to work every hour god sends, and it was still not enough Very understaffed expected to do on call very frequently, and on call compensation was poor On call was very busy, phone ringing constantly, so very stressful management are in an ivory tower, not approachable at all Pay on the low side for a tech support job questionable IT security practices There was an "us" and "them" attitude in the business between admin/sales/finance and support. We are one team, so why not help each other ? Car park politics, support have to park round the side out of sight and those chosen few in the clique get to park at the front like the rest of the good boys and girls, like that's some sort of reward ? Also, "free parking" not really a company benefit but listed as one. Camera's everywhere which is common practice at a tech company, BUT these have microphones and the company use their cameras for spying and monitoring of staff and conversations, so some conversations in the office would be met with a "shhhhh" *points at the camera*. Company computers have spy software to monitor what you are doing all the time, so feel like you're not trusted at all and treated with suspicion. Managers get reports of what websites you go on etc. more trusted using school computers as a kid in all honesty. Feel like customers are being mislead sometimes in terms of the service we were providing. Good holiday allowance but sometimes was difficult to get holidays approved, reasons given were out of my control business issues. Need to provide a letter from doctors or dentist for appointments, otherwise you were not allowed to go to personal appointments like this, but It's difficult to provide this as since when do either doctors or dentist send you a letter to confirm your appointment ? Hard to manage your personal care in that situation, so made it very stressful if you were ever ill. HR not impartial, although that may have changed since I worked there Really not great at all. Cant recommend.

Pros

Seem to care about work/homelife balance. Always try to support you. Management happy to help if you need support to complete work.

Cons

I worked in a small team so no progression, my choice to leave for a larger Company
