Pros
These are Key points, in my opinion: *Team-focused small business *Quality employees v. quantity *Competitive benefits (actually, better than most companies offer in the same environment) *Supports work/life balance. *Standardized processes across the environments. *Utilizes employee skill sets within the company for new business, current business. *Employee Supportive! (this is a big deal to me because they treat you as an actual person, not a "job/task") *The ability to work on different projects when your skill set is needed and the level of diverse team members really rounds out the company. Ahmad and team are very dedicated to the employees and overall betterment of your professional career. Continuously supporting and investing in the employees ensures at the end of the day, you WANT to support the projects and company and you ENJOY doing it. This is the first company in 16 years as a DoD contractor, that I chose to stay an employee rather than move to a different company to stay with a project. To me, that was a major decision with no regrets. The fun stuff: The annual summer picnic and the winter holiday party involves all of the company/families and is very enjoyable! I think it is nice to work for a small business that rallies for the employees in a variety of ways. There is fun seasonal voluntary sign ups for fundraisers, local events, sports and company focused-events. The company gear is well thought out and very nice! I would also like to mention, there are 2 video game consoles and egg chairs in the lounge. (I personally like this as a nice lunch or project break diversion).
Cons
Everything has a balance of pros/cons, however, I have not experienced a con that has affected me. Being Remote does keep me out of the "loop" on some of the in -office experiences but leadership strives to keep everyone involved and I feel included despite no physical presence.
