IGH -involuntary go home. Because they have too many people they have come up with this as a solution. (It’s entered in the system as VGH though which is voluntary go home.) It’s not something you volunteer for or even request and it’s supposed to be based on oerformance but it isn’t. It’s their way of cutting hours and nobody is exempt from it no matter how good your numbers are except management of course. Then they say it all ends July 31 only to find out it’s extended through August. The worst part about it is that part of the time you don’t even know you have gotten IGH until you try to clock in and the system tells you that you don’t have a shift that day. When you call HR to complain you are told they’ve never heard of this IGH policy.
