Pros
A really supportive team in Europe, everyone is always working to tight deadlines and high targets but the attitude and dedication of the team is always great to see. The top management have done a really good job in the last 2 years to bring the teams a lot closer. Access to training is really good and lots of support calls are offered throughout.
Cons
In regards to work, more hiring would allow specialised teams to focus a lot more. PTO balances could be improved slightly, lots of teams complain of burnout especially towards the end of the year. Maybe a compulsory week off at Christmas may help. I’d say the biggest let down of the company is maternity and paternity leave. Big companies in the uk often offer really good packages for these leaves and it’s sad that a company who does a lot for equality and inclusion falls a bit behind on this one. I feel like it would be an attractive package to help retention and hiring.
