Pros
I learned so much at this job, they were my family. They watched me grow from an infant and they were my village through to the end. I went to the Urgent Care Center for an externship as my last clinical when I was finishing school to become a Medical Assistant. They hired me as soon as I passed my test and obtained my NCMA license. I worked there as an PRN (as needed) for 3 years. I’ve gained experience in bloodwork, urgent care triage, bandaging, EKGs, CLIA waived testings, bac tests, drug screens, human performance evaluations, PFTs, audiograms, etc.
Cons
Covid created hours shortages, low pay
