Laid back atmosphere and great client exposure - Client Service Analyst Comscore Employee Review

Pros

There is a very laid back atmosphere where employees enjoy a business casual attire. The cafeteria has an xBox and is stocked with snacks, letting you relax when things get stressful. Exposure to clients is great and allows entry level employees to hit the ground running. There is very much an entrepreneurial atmosphere, allowing employees to grow the business organically and tackle challenges in a fast-paced technology based firm.

Cons

Occasionally it might be difficult to break away from work. Since there is a large learning curve and peak workloads, you might find yourself working late into one night and similarly having little to do another day. Management understands this and is flexible in allowing privileges to compensate for long nights.

Pros

1. So-called un-limited time-off but never taken into consideration it all depends on how badly they need you, so if you are in a position critical then you have some good time off. 2. They "MIGHT" help you when you need emotional support, but this is not permanent changes with policy. 3. Summer hours availability.

Cons

1. Doesn't match industry level compensation. 2. Communication from the higher ups are always confusing and no clear goals provided. If there is something wrong with the communication between the higher ups you are always responsible even for that. 3. No stock options as they want the flexibility to fire you at anytime. 4. No severance provided until they know you can sue them back. 5. Look out for their quarterly meetings, if they are not doing good in Revenue, then expect layoffs within next few weeks. 6. They always tend to put the blame on lower level employees, when there is a escalation even when its not your fault. Prepare for getting fired if you are especially under a senior who has been with comscore for long + your team have good resource bandwidth.
