Pros
Stable job; many people have been there for over a decade or two. Pretty good healthcare coverage. Good coworkers. Usually laid back. Good separation of work/life. Free turkey for Thanksgiving.
Cons
Management makes terrible decisions leading to weird deadlines and confusing release windows. "Customer-driven" work means refactoring rarely gets done. Weird PTO and holiday policies (can't give you Black Friday off, gotta work that the Saturday before) (work from home one day a week, but only Tue, Wed, or Thurs). We never seem to have the equipment we need for development. Recent management change (CEO passed away and everything reshuffled) looks like it's gonna start making things go downhill.
