Pros
Current team is has really raised the bar here. New CEO has been a great change for the company. Great energy. Proof is in the numbers - exceeding goals after years of what felt like chaos and struggling. Focus on quality and productivity and exits of low performers has been a long time coming! Company has new leadership - seasoned leaders who are making hard decisions that are benefitting the company and raising performance levels - and morale - across all departments.
Cons
- Pockets of low performers still exist and many old timers who are resistant to change, cling to legacy brands, and insist on doing things the old way (think spreadsheet, time clocks and no process). - Some unnecessary "bro" culture. - Some people are in over their heads and are have hit their ceilings and probably need to move on. - Saw a few teams turn over under new leaders, but definitely for the best - Still some people, like the reviewer who complained about the focus on productivity and pace, are resisting change. Most have been complacent, not working too hard, and basically just collecting up a paycheck, for far too long. When given the opportunity to rise, they are unable to. It's a net positive for the company that those folks are self-selecting out and being replaced by energy and people who have a bias for action (vs resisting and complaining). When negative people leave, morale and productivity SPIKE!
