      Pros

      Pay is excellent and the benefits are good.

      Cons

      As an RN Case Manager, I worked approximately 50-65 hours a week. Case Managers were also required to be on-call, even during the week. I once went 36 hours - straight without sleep. Very dangerous being on the roads when that tired.

      Due to my compassion, it can be emotionally demanding at times and challenging to separate work from personal emotions.
