Care is not patient-centered; company will waste entire benefit period for patients who want to back out of admission immediately after signing on (other agencies will just eat the cost of sending the admit nurse for a single appointment). Care kits are not automatically ordered for new admits so home patients frequently go into preventable pain crises. Office environments are toxic and dysfunctional, despite how wonderful most of the field staff are. Little to no training for management on how to be genuine leaders so they rely on control and domination rather than influence. I witnessed some concerning (and on one or two occasions, illegal) behavior by my branch's management. Upon separation from the company, corporate will cancel your benefits the minute you walk out the door (instead of paying thru the end of the month like the majority of others -- further, you will not be offered an exit interview for their separation policies to be explained so you just find out later). They only pay out PTO in states that legally mandate it.
