1) Do not expect much from almost any level of leadership at the agency. They do not seem to understand or care to understand the work you do with your clients or what their needs may be.
Their responses to both the pandemic and racial justice were so embarrassing and disappointing.
2) Do not expect confidentiality from HR. Certain HR staff seem to have relationships with directors and managers and will break confidentiality for their friends. Although, HR staff frequently turnover, so you likely won't speak to the same person twice.
3) Pay is exceptionally low compared to other agencies and for similar roles. The union attempts to negotiate raises but it's a long hill to climb.
