Pros
Good benefits and incentives
Cons
Managers are often treated very poorly, not respected or supported. Managers sometimes cover up to 70 hours a week due to poor hiring practices and staff burning out and leaving the agency with a negative experience of the agency. Thus the agency has trouble hiring good employees. Program Directors are often complacent with support. The expectation is that managers work between 50-60 hours a week regularly. Accountability was not held to the same standard across the board at all. If you were not liked you were pushed out or forced to resign then blamed for things that went wrong after you left the agency sometimes for years after.
