      Pros

      The staff that do the work at CHAA are amazing. I learned so much from them. They truly care for the clients and the agency. I stayed for a long time because I love my colleagues and the work we did. I am still in touch with many of them and they are important people to me.

      Cons

      I left because of the Executive Director. He has very toxic management and people skills. To compensate for that, he has maneuvered things so he has all the power and no accountability to anyone. He is both the Executive Director (ED) and Board President. I had to accept that as long as he had those roles, I would not be able to truly support and grow CHAA.

      Pros

      CHAA is a great place to work. They value work/life balance. Staff are allowed to work remotely.

      Cons

      Almost, if not all, decisions need to go through the executive director.

      Pros

      CHAA is a wonderful place to work. The leadership values programs and staff. I have been here for 7 years and couldn't be happier. Happy staff provide excellent services so it is a win win. We had some challenges (see below) but we are rebuilding and are stronger and healthier than ever.

      Cons

      There have been some challenges with previous staff who would not accept change. They did all they could to bring down the very organization they claimed to care about. They did a lot of damage and caused a lot of stress. Unhappy people can do crazy destructive things. You will see their postings here.
