Pros
Working at Community Concepts is a unique experience where one can witness firsthand the impact the agency makes on the local community- something you don't get at for-profit type companies.
Everyone is friendly, management is supportive and there is ample opportunity for lateral movement throughout the agency.
Benefits are complete and include a highly competitive fleet of paid holidays
Cons
As a nonprofit that relies on grants to keep programs funded, job security can be iffy. Pay can also be lower than industry averages and departments smaller than they might be at a for-profit company; meaning workloads might be larger.
With so many satellite locations across the state, travel can be a downside.
