Pros

Health benefits are good. You work 8 hours. Paid holidays and snow days. Staff well being and prevention of burn out are promoted. Convenient location.

Cons

Clinically inept supervisors. Some supervisors have never had post graduate experience in the field. Promotions are often given to appease people who have thrown tantrums or stonewalled staff. Clinical licenses are not required which keeps salaries low and staff weak. Overtime is required on the crisis line, but supervisors fail to train their staff to work it. Professionalism is lacking in senior management. You are not told which team you will work on until your first day.

Pros

I love working at CBH. It allows you to see the work from a different angle. It is more so macro social work, and working within multiple systems. It is a great opportunity to grow your skill base and connect with various institutions within the Philadelphia area.

Cons

Hybrid work schedule. I was hired when we worked exclusively remote.
