Great place to work but several bad apples with power - Communications Commonwealth Secretariat Employee Review

Very fulfilling experience. My Supervisor was excellent, gave very good guidance and feedback on deliverable s. The project had very clear outputs, and the funds to execute the work were sent on time. All interactions were professionally handled, and reports were delivered on time.

The contracts should be for a longer period of time. The time to confirm the contract took a long time, which led to some disruptions and inconveniences.

The atmosphere is fairly laid back and the managers treat the staff well. Most of the staff are friendly, relaxed and very helpful. Would be entirely stress free had it not been for the downsizing in operations leading to layoffs.

Salary a little below competitive but jobs are hard to get nowadays. That is probably why some o the staff and supervisors seem a tad inefficient. Downsizing its operations.
