Pros

The downtown Denver location is very convenient. They have a nice office even though it is very empty. Very good work life balance.

Cons

The CEO and leadership team has a problem with communication. The company does not seem to know what to do. The culture is very poor.

Having built and scaled sales organization at both Gartner and CEB, this is a tough review coming from someone formerly in sales. As you know sales can often times be at the tip of spear when introducing new products - and I have an appreciation that we certainly don't have everything figured out. Sales executives must self start - CT is not an exception. I hope you find success.

Pros

The founders are truly experts in the space.

Cons

The industry doesn't appear to value sales managers over sales reps. CROs focus on the result, not so much the process.

Pros

This company is growing fast, and the people who work here are extremely high caliber. If you like a high-challenge & high-reward environment, this is the place. The company demands your best, but if you meet the challenge, the rewards are great. Lots of opportunity to grow your own career and choose your own direction. The people who work here are insanely smart, which in turn encourages you to drive your own abilities and knowledge to higher levels. Tons of opportunity for personal growth. This is a very exciting organization to be involved with, and the industry is exploding. The culture of the company is also great, a work-hard play-hard kind of mentality. Most people here seem to have the ability to contribute strongly to the growth of the company, while also cracking jokes and making things fun.

Cons

Working here is demanding, so taking true time off and "unplugging" can be difficult. However, people are supportive and do encourage you to take a break when you have time! This is also not a place for people who need structure. If you like having precedents and doing things as they always have been done, other places may be better for you. However, if you are someone who does well on the fly and figuring out things as you go along, this is the place! New suggestions on processes, tactics, etc. are highly encouraged from everyone.

As you can imagine, I'm an advocate of your post. Yes - your Pro comments certainly feel emblematic of our approach and at the same time your Cons comments are fair. Thanks for the post - pi
