Pros
Overall it has been awesome working at CommandBar. CommandBar has been my favorite place to work at in my short career. Some of the highlights: - The team: I'm constantly amazed and motivated by the team. I find that this is my favorite part about working at CommandBar. It's fun to tackle problems with good people. - Product: The main product, the "bar", is something I wish every app had. It's been cool to see a lot of big companies like GitHub and Slack build a similar feature themselves. It's also motivating to work on something that millions of users are using every day. - Future possibilities: Everyone is working on an AI solution these days, but I think it's especially cool to think about AI within our products (especially help). - Culture: Across the board people have low ego and attack problems (rather than people). Sharing feedback, whether with the CEO or a teammate, is highly valued and encouraged. It's awesome to see random ideas become new product features or new company traditions.
Cons
- Probably more of a "me" issue, but it can be difficult to turn my work brain off. - Not an issue for me, but I know it can be good to know for others: workload tends to spike around product launches.
