Pros
Fantastic team of very entrepreneurial and smart people. Great culture and collegiate atmosphere. About my role; its been a huge growth opportunity. Very well-organized team with good training and support. Fun and challenging to be part of creating a new category (IoT) within the corporate real estate world.
Cons
The flip side of selling a new solution (with no real competitors) into an old-school industry is that you have to overcome a lot of skepticism from change-average people. With enterprise sales you have to convince multiple stakeholders which means you'll likely encounter a strong objector. Once we make the sale and show initial results though, it gets a lot easier.
