Pros
I spent almost 5 years in this role and succeed in getting one promotion. Comcast treats its employees with respect and it's easy to get lost as a small fish in a big pond, if you prefer that. Benefits are excellent.
Cons
If you want to advance and grow as a business professional, it can be difficult. Comcast tends to reward the loudest employees with promotions, not necessarily the best. Comcast is on its way down as a company and front line sales/customer service are in the firing line. Commissions are constantly getting squeezed down. I was lucky in that I knew the systems before I started but it can be very difficult to learn the role if you're new. There is a ton of turnover. Working in a front line role at Comcast can be difficult for your mental health as it is challenging to meet quotas and customers can be very difficult. It is easy to burn out. You often feel anonymous and alone in this remote role. While corporate employees get the holidays off, front line employees do not.
