Pros

Tech stack is ok: .net core 2.x They sound like they want to adopt a modern JS framework someday (but probably won't) Friendly co-workers Decent location with lots of places to eat nearby Nice restrooms

Cons

New management has instituted mandatory time tracking for ALL activities (that's right; everything) Most managers lead out of fear and refuse to keep developers out of meetings No remote work for devs Increasing micro management all the way from the top Relatively low pay and bare minimum benefits

Pros

I have been working at Colyar for over a year. This year has brought a lot of change for the better. From creating new processes, finding new talent, and formalizing our product offering Colyar is on the right path. The overall culture is in the transition from a small business to a well-oiled machine.

Cons

We all know that change brings stressful situations.

Pros

Awesome leadership! President is very engaged and makes it a point to personally interact with every employee. Everyone works hard and that hard work is rewarded with generous compensation packages, company outings, holiday parties, generous holidays and PTO and a broad range of benefits, including an option of company paid medical and dental insurance. There is also a true work/life balance. This is probably the best company that I have worked for. We are provided with tools to constantly better ourselves in our field. To top it off we are in a brand new office in a beautiful building. It is a great company, in a great environment, with great people. I love coming to work every day.

Cons

The only "con" I can really come up with is that we can probably use one or 2 more conference rooms. They book up quickly.
