Pros
The company definitely will help you out if you’re a hard worker. They have a nice bonus program. They’re a very well known and respected machine shop in the area.
Cons
Management doesn’t communicate with each other and with employees. All decisions are ultimately made by the owner of the company leaving very little authority to the shop supervisors. Critical information for jobs are not disclosed prior to starting the job or even after asking for said information. Most employees look out for themselves first rather helping others. They are quick to throw you under the bus for any reason. It is expected you work 6-7 days a week. If you need a weekend off, you have to put in for it beforehand. If not, you will be asked to work and won’t allow you to say no. There is very little room for career growth.
