Pros
Great mission and (as everyone says) unprecedented benefits. There are some really intelligent people throughout all levels of the organization, especially those from the pre-Coleman era. Hopefully the new administration values them and utilizes their skills.
Cons
The new leadership in general. Senior Leadership continually asks us how to improve things and tells us how they will act on it but not one thing has been implemented since the onslaught of surveys we've been asked to complete. The incessant rhetoric has become almost laughable. Additionally, the new administration brought with it a very top down culture. Staff are no longer invited to the table. We are basically just told what to do and how to do it. When we are finished with our task we don't even have the opportunity to see how (or if) our work is being used. Gone are the days of creativity, innovation, and empowerment. We now live in a world full of uninspired, unimaginative conformists. At the core of the organization there is a great mission and such good work to be done...hopefully we can get back to it.
