Pros
This company is really great with flexible work conditions. Is your kid sick and you need to work from home today? No big deal. Need some time off for medical stuff? no big deal. Need to take a leave of absence for a few months to take care of personal stuff? no big deal, your job will be here when you get back. This company actually cares about it's employees! Consultant get a lot of the same flexibility! It's not a problem if you need to cancel a flight if your partner is in the hospital or to work remotely if you are moving that week. Travel is hard and it is difficult to maintain work/life balance, but this company does a pretty good job under the circumstance. It's a small company and the younger/newer people still have an opinion that can be heard. The people at this company are amazing. They work together and help each other. This could be in the office, over a lunch and learn, or over drinks after work. There is always going to be a person or two that you don't get along with, but there are very few of these as everyone is very professional and friendly!
Cons
It's a small company and lacks some of the benefits of a larger one. There is no HR department (though they are working on starting one). They are just starting to standardize job titles and what someone needs to do to move up the ranks.
