      Pros

      - People are great (apart from CEO and SLT) - Snacks in office - Great location - Exciting industry

      Cons

      - CEO makes people cry in her office and it’s just normalized, even her co founder - SLT are sycophants who are too afraid to stand up to Thru - SLT will not support direct reports, culture is to throw everyone under the bus - Most people stay for less than a year due to leadership style of CEO - CEO’s reputation in chicago tech scene is REALLY ROUGH. Ask around before attaching yourself to a sinking ship - Business model is based on signing contracts they cannot realistically execute

      Pros

      - Dedicated and passionate team that genuinely wants the company to succeed - Opportunity to work on challenging projects - Office location and amenities

      Cons

      - Extremely toxic leadership practices - Lack of company or product vision leads to a disengaged and stretched thin team without a clear strategy - People leave the company or get fired and the roles simply never get backfilled - Working hour expectations ; the norm is for the team at any level to be on calls post 10pm regularly - I have observed members of the team be berated, sworn at and yelled at in team meetings - Compensation is far below market ranges - Burnt out team - Culture of finger pointing and throwing each other under the bus
