Pros
# Good work culture. # Flexible timings. # Supportive team (peers, sub-ordinates and supervisors). # Onsite opportunities available.
Cons
CTS is basically a service based company. Whether you feel good or bad about work here is a reflection of how your client treats. Your comfort at work depends upon the client you work with. Below are some of my experiences with a banking client. # Scope and solution model keeps changing day by day. The project deadlines remain the same. # There are lot of non technical requirements, to be met. # You won't get a competent team to meet the project many times. Only some of the members are good. # There is no work life balance. # Some of the architectures are flawed. You cannot change them. But all the risk of delivery will be on top of you. # Job of a lead is very tough. Stress is beyond one's bearing capacity. # Freshers can thrive in this kind of projects. They can grow up to meet the requirements and slowly become capable leads. # For laterals this can be a nightmare. # Management is aware of these issues. I am sad that does not help. But this experience does not apply to all employees. There are other projects which are better and its a good experience being there.
