Pros
It’s hard to say anything here that won’t come off as over the top, but my experience with Cognixion has truly been remarkable.
I could talk about the products we have built, the products we are building, the incredible network of users and clinicians participating in development, and the exceptional skill of the team. But more than anything - for anyone considering applying - when you join Cognixion you are joining a family. A family reinventing the concept of “normal;” deconstructing the accepted model of human-computer interaction; dragging the augmentation industry (sometimes kicking and screaming) into a world where “accessibility” is synonymous with “personalization.”
If you join us you will be participating in a renaissance finally giving voice to the most ignored minority group on the planet, and if you don’t believe me now just wait. The work will - quite literally - speak for itself.
Cons
The market we are addressing is incredibly complex, and working within it effectively means juggling a wide variety of software, hardware, and regulatory complications that pose a unique professional challenge. Expect a significant learning curve - but also expect to be trained and supported.
