Pros

There is not one good thing about this bank. Stay away.

Cons

This has to be the worst bank I have ever worked for. The market president is terrible and talks about everyone and steals peoples deals and claims them as her own. All of the staff except for one commercial banker, is racist and sexist. I mentioned this to HR and they did nothing. Stay clear from this place. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

Pros

1. There are many wonderful employees. I never encountered anyone I felt was truly toxic. 2. With the exception of some very rare and understandable circumstances, I have not been in a position where I needed to work nights or weekends. In the cases I do, it was more from a perspective that I wanted to be a "team player." I never really felt pressured to work outside of normal hours. 3. There is a level of flexibility in certain roles on when you come in and leave. As long as you get your work done.

Cons

1. It is a tight nit group in the higher levels of the company and career advancement feels impossible if you are not in that "click." No matter how hard you work or demonstrate your skills in your role, you can be passed over on promotions for people who know the management team. 2. Communication is very limited or non-existent. Management prefers to have high level discussions amongst themselves and you are only clued in when necessary. 3. Several higher level employees have demonstrated a willingness to take credit for the work of others, or lay blame on others when in a tight spot. Poor leadership. 4. If you are considered a valuable employee to the organization, they will constantly dangle a "carrot" to keep you on board. There is always the promise of "greater things" next year.
