A rare balance of growth and well-being - Head of Data and Analytics Codex Consulting Group Employee Review

Pros

There is never a dull moment here; there are plenty of diverse projects to get stuck into, which keeps the work exciting. Despite the high volume of work, the work-life balance remains excellent. Leadership is great at transparent communication, and the constant stream of new initiatives provides constant growth opportunities. It’s the perfect place if you like staying busy without burning out.

Cons

Because there are so many exciting projects moving at once, the pace can be very fast. If you prefer a slow, predictable 'maintenance mode' type of job, this might not be the right fit for you.

Pros

Over the past four years, I’ve had the opportunity to take on a variety of challenging roles and work across some genuinely interesting projects. The business has evolved significantly, transitioning from a product-focused company to a pure consultancy, which has created strong learning opportunities and accelerated professional growth. The calibre of people is a standout. You are surrounded by capable, driven individuals who push you to improve, which I’ve found highly motivating. The culture is also a key strength. It is genuinely values-led from the top, with founders who actively shape and reinforce this. The organisation is flat, communication is open, and everyone is encouraged to contribute regardless of tenure or role. There is a strong sense of respect and inclusion in how people interact.

Cons

The transition to a consultancy model has come with its challenges. The pace is fast, expectations are high, and the environment may not suit everyone. Some individuals may find the intensity and level of accountability demanding, particularly if they prefer more structure or a slower pace.
