Pros
Management have somehow gathered some of the brightest and most caring people I’ve ever worked with. They soon leave once they’ve hit their limit.
Cons
1] Poor pay for market rate and role, with striking disparity across colleagues. Once concerns are voiced, you’re lied to and gaslit about your understanding being wrong (it isn’t). 2] Management style is incredibly toxic. They will either wilfully ignore you or bully you into submission - minimise your work and effort, gossip and belittle you to other members of the team or senior management. 3] Progression is non existent unless you’ve worked with one of the senior managers beforehand. Nepotism is rife. 4] This organisation seems to be a PR exercise for the CEO with the mask of a social impact mission that uses its warm and fuzzy exterior to gain the trust of well meaning professionals. They will work them to the bone and then say they’ve not or haven’t worked hard enough and don't deserve the pay they're on. 5] Senior management have no care for your time, your career or your well-being (specifically, your long term mental health). Ableism is par for the course at CFG. 6] They won't even pay for basic things like accommodation or travel for staff, when they're requiring 'remote' employees to be on-site in London for events, meetings or team days. 7] Team socials seem to be a test of how much alcohol can drank by senior management. Avoid this place for your own sake.
