[Location in Metro-Van, Canada, not going to disclose the specific location out of work decency] 1. Poor Management. Supervisor was not fluent in English. Had a hard time communicating and did not mention to me any benefits, nor bother me a drink after work. (I didn't even know you could get a free drink after work, I think you have to work certain hours tho ) 2. Long hours and require you to memorize and be fluent in operating everything, in only 3 short training days. Beware: There is a test you need to pass after 3 days of training. If you don't pass, they fire you. (Hence, the high work turnover) 3. Request you to stay on your own time (unpaid) to go over the "notes". There were no handbooks, written instructions, etc. Everything must be memorized and written down by listening and staying after the training. (Trained the whole evening til 9 on an empty stomach, and had to stay to write notes while the supervisor was eating pizza in front of me) 4. The amount of stress and workload is not worth the minimum wage, even if you work your head off. I have worked at several jobs in bigger food industries, with busier locations, but trust me the job here is way more stressful. But if you're seriously passionate about working at a bbt shop, go for it. Compared to here, Starbucks is way better
