- Company values family and work/life balance. - Part of a global (WorleyParsons) engineering company, so opportunities for mobility exist. - Senior Management is present, aware, and concerned with keeping the business running well. - Health and Safety are a priority. - Perks include early Fridays, rotating underground parking (and free parking outside), coffee stations, medical coverage, rrsp contributions, company share purchases, many social activities as well as celebrations within the office, current technologies and hardware, and discounted gym memberships.

- Pressures from the company (WP) and the client (Syncrude) sometimes clash and cause confusion. - Depending on which department you're in, opportunities for training and/or advancement may be very good, or may be non-existent. - At present time, there is a feeling of upcoming downturn, leading to 'restructuring', removal of some positions, and potential layoffs.

Great people, great pay, and great hours. Overall was one of the better places I've ever worked. The bosses and management made the environment very fun and enjoyable.
