Pros

Here’s a more natural, human-sounding version of the pros turned into two smooth paragraphs: ⸻ One of the best things about working at Clowns.com is that the pay really adds up for the hours you work. Between your regular hourly rate and the tips you get at events, you end up making around $20+ an hour without even trying, and some days it’s way more. The atmosphere is fun, too — every event feels like walking into a party, and you get to be part of the energy instead of stuck doing something boring. Working with a partner makes the job even better, because you’re always bouncing off each other and the time flies by. Management is surprisingly supportive and actually checks in to make sure you’re comfortable and confident before each event. Another thing I really appreciate is how flexible the job is. Since everything is event-based, it’s easy to work around school or another job, and you never feel locked into a crazy schedule. Plus, the tips can be amazing on bigger parties, and families are usually super generous. Every event is different, which keeps things exciting — you never feel like you’re doing the same thing over and over. Overall, it’s a job that pays well, stays fun, and gives you a lot of freedom.

Cons

The only real downsides are that most events land on weekends, you’re on your feet pretty much the whole time, and sometimes you have to travel a bit depending on the party location. But honestly, once you’re there and you see how excited the kids get, it all feels worth it. The energy, the smiles, and the reactions you get make those small inconveniences feel like nothing.

Pros

Good tips when scheduled consistently.

Cons

Most people don’t work for most of the year. You will only be scheduled when they need you and then when they are slow they only schedule their top favorite entertainers. They lie and make it seem like you will always make consistent money when you are first hired. They also never pay you your included tips ontime.
